What You Wear

The following experiment will help you to take a good, long look at what you are wearing, why you are wearing it, and how it makes you feel.

Although you can get away with only trying this exercise for one week, I suggest that you do it for a month. Also, I think it’s a good idea to try it for a week or two each new season, until you have completely settled into your personal style, then perhaps once per year during maintenance.

NOTHING will give you a better look at your current attitudes towards clothing and the areas you need to improve most, so don’t skip this step!

Every day for a month (week), keep a log of what you wear.

Basic fashion – something like the Gap – is much better than medium middle-class dead clothes. I’ve always felt that way.
